Making a black or ethnic cloth doll can have its own dilemmas in finding appropriate skin colours, hair styling and face painting techniques.

  1. Agreed. Finding the right shades can sometimes be a challenge. I've used dollskin, faux suede, even an old silk blouse which had a nice sheen. Here are some I've done.....
